We returned to shows in May of this year and what a year it has been so far! I have only been showing my veteran, Trixie "Barryscourt Tri `N` Stop Me". She has done me so proud and has far exceeded my wildest expectations. At South Tipperary CH Show, she took 2nd in her first veteran stakes. Following on from that she not only won her first veteran point in the breed, she also won best bitch, green star (cac), best of breed and third in Group 1! Thank you to the judge, Mrs M Spink.
At the Cork weekend of CH shows, she again gained a nice placing in veteran stakes.
Kilkenny CH show was next. Trixie amazed me by winning a strong veteran stakes class. She again took top honours in the breed, winning green star and best of breed under breed specialist Mr G Jeavons!
The next day we were at Deise CH show and Trixie picked up where she left off and won the all breed veteran stakes again! She also won the veteran class in the breed. This was her fifth veteran class win with an excellent grading so subject to the IKC, Trixie won the title of Veteran Champion!
At the Munster Ag International and National shows, she again won her classes in the breed and was placed in the veteran stakes with some wonderful comments!
Currently, as of the start of August 2022, Trixie is sitting in 2nd place on the all breed veteran leaderboard!

Well, Covid-19 is still here, meaning we have still not been to an actual show but the team has done really well on the virtual shows that have been held throughout the past 12 months. They are only for fun and mean nothing in the long run, but they are enjoyable!
We had a special result at the last virtual show we entered. Koda won the open dog class, best dog and BEST IN SHOW at the Australian Shepherd Club of The United Kingdom (ASCUK) February show under breed specialist judge mr Colin Dowson. I`m very proud of my boy. Here`s the video.....

So proud, she`s the first of my dogs to qualify for this event..... (update.. unfortunately due to unforseen circumstances, we were unable to attend on the day).

Well it has been a long time since I had a chance to update the website, almost a year!!! But what a year it has been, especially with our aussie. Koda has surpassed all of my expectations. I focused on showing him for most of the year while Trixie enjoyed a long break from the ring. To make a long story short Koda finished 2016 with 10 green stars, multiple best of breeds, group placings, puppy stakes placings and he attained his Junior Champion Title. He also managed to win the title of Annual Champion 2016 (subject to the IKC)!! This young boy has won so much, and all before the age of 15 months. In Ireland a dog needs 7 green stars to become a champion. Already, Koda has 10, however he was too young to claim the title so must win one more after 15 months of age to get it. Fingers crossed!!!!
